I am not able to receive email but I can send it

I am not able to receive email messages when I click on the send/ receive
button. I have tryed to send email to test from a different account but my
outlook account doesn't register any new emails. I can send email fine as it
goes to the indended address. I also had my computer recently fix would that
have something to due with the problem I have.

What version of Outlook do you have? What sort of email account(s)? Do
you get an error when you do a send/receive? If so, what is it?
