I am having trouble setting up my Outlook Express

Hi...I can't seem to set up my Outlook Express. I use Cox and I put in the
POP3 and the SMTP but it keeps asking me for my UN and PW and it won't accept
them...HELP!

I'm getting the same problem it's not accepting my user name and pw. When I
click test account settings (right below POP3 and SMTP), it pops up with UN
and PW box. I enter the same password as I used to make my account but it
doesn't work. However, the box that is popping up says Network Password on
the top of it even though it says enter your UN and PW. I'm guessing we're
supposed to enter our UN and NETWORK PW, not our own PW. Anyone have any
suggestions?

You'd probably have better luck asking the Outlook Express newsgroup - this
one is for Outlook which is a part of the Office suite

Try posting this in an Outlook Express news group - this is not one of them.
Outlook is a part of Microsoft Office and is what this group supports.
Outlook Express is a part of Internet Explorer and has its own news groups.

You can also find some good Outlook Express information here:

You'd have still better luck asking Cox. http://support.cox.com They should
have instructions on how to set up OE and information about contacting a
tech support person if you need additional help.
