I am having difficulty publishing pages in frontpage 2003

i have website published using FP 2003. I am having difficulties publishing
changes. I click on view remote website and this brings up password etc. It
then goes to a blank page with message: click remote website properties... to
set up remote website. When clicked the FP is highlighted and my webhosting
address appears.
After a few second another message appears: A website does not exist at
http://frontpage..... etc etc. Would you like FP to open one?
When it occasionally works I get server timed out messages and 'server cant
parse'
Can anyone help? I use Lycos as my webhost

Yes i have. They wernt much help, but kept going on about FTP publishing.
