I am able to send emails but not recieve them

It is saying this:

The host 'pop-server' could not be found. Please verify that you have
entered the server name correctly.
Account: 'pop-server', Server: 'pop-server', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110,
Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 11001, Error Number: 0x800CCC0D

Ive have went to tools, accounts-mail accounts, properties, servers but the
box 4 log on using secure password Authen was not check already and then i
checked it but it didnt do anything....

Please i need some help its for my grandparents

pop-server does not appear to be a proper server name?
Please tell us ONLY the part after the @ in the email address that they will
be using, and who do they pay for their internet connection (ISP).

You may only have entered a partial server name..
Who provides the email account?

If it's Roadrunner, they have different servers to use, based on where you
live, and
whether you are an existing RR customer or an ex-Adelphia customer, etc.
The POP3 server name could be pop-server.roadrunner.com, or
pop-server.xx.rr.com
(where xx is your locale)
