We know Frank has his problems... and most people I can imagine are not
worry free...

but that does not justify him from being a pain in the posterior...

We are ready to support him 100%, all he needs is a change in attitude.

Yes... the problem exists I had no trials installed at the time.

But this same problem occurs even without trials...
I have encountered it on another computer also with no trials.

This does not happen always on the first install...

It may happen when you try to repair an install.. it keeps asking for the
installation cd... but in fact its asking to find the location of the files
you first installed it from...

I tried moving the installer files to various locations trying to remember
where I had installed from.. and after some time I got it..

however this trial and error process took time because you have to engage in
the install for it to fail so you can see that the location is wrong....

Basically its as crappy as vista is... how could such big errors slip
through to a final product?

Yeah I know as an MVP you worship vista..... the mvps that dislike vista
are not talking publicly.

Good for them to hide..... but I am not an MVP (thank god) and I can tell
people how crappy vista is all day.

hehehe..,so you can't get CS3 installed and it's Vista's fault?
Hahahaha...you don't really think anyone believes that do you?
Your problem is between the keyboard and the chair your sitting in...lol!
Idiot!

Stop being so mean to Frank! I'm sure Frank has his own problems, poor

Adam shoves his head up his arse whenever he tries to reply to something
about me...lol!
He knows I'm smarter than he is and it infuriates the hell out of him.
But most people are smarter than he is so that’s not really saying much.
My problem right now is to make a decision on whether or not to sell one
of my properties in southern Europe or keep it.

Heh, I was being sarcastic.

I suggest you keep it. Southern Europe could use a guy like you.

Quit quoting me. When I originally pointed that out, I was talking about
YOU.

There are drugs that can treat your mental illness Frankie.

What's crappier than Vista?

You have a place in 'southern Europe'?

That sounds far too vague to be convincing.

Specifically Southern France on the Cote D'Azur.
It's a vacation spot.
We don't get over there that often.

I've been having problems with the installer for CS3 Design
Premium as well, and I have been using Adobe software for years,
and I know quite a bit about computers.

Frank needs to understand that every computer is different and has
different software installed. The result is that what works for one
may not work for another.

Posts such as "it works fine for me" can be helpful if some information
as to hardware and software is given.

Ah, at last we get a smidgen of content... the first post was all
attitude and zero tech detail at all. I skipped replying to that one.

Imagine a 100-line program written with the same attention to details
and accuracy as your posts. How good would that be?

Now imaging scaling up that quality to as large (bloated?) a system as
Vista. Do you think it would even boot?

Pot - kettle - black.
