vista of course is the worse monstrosity that has ever seen the face of this
earth.
office2007 with the dumb ribbon!
Windows media player 11 with its hideous new interface
ie7 with its unchangeable toolbars
live mail desktop and all the live suit for that matter the installer is the
most horrid installer I have seen in any program EVER!
windows desktop search that is worse than a malware and virus combined!

They will start getting the message slowly but steadily that smart people
are avoiding their new crap programs.

I doubt you are working with Microsoft on anything with the exception of:

Parking Lot Attendant
Janitor Trainee
Junior Cook

And if by some miracle you are working with Microsoft, you won't be for
long. Just FYI

Desktop search is perfect.
IE7 is a dream to use.
I agree with you about Office 2007; I use 2003
Media Player 9 was the best; I use 11 just to play ripped CDs that I've
bought.
Outlook 2003 is the mail to use.

Don't just knock everything; be a bit objective!

Stop treating your computer like a motorbike; you are jumping on it, then
kick-starting it!

Try Copernic do a Google search for it. A very good Free search engine.

Yep, Copernic do a great little tool there. I had it prior to installing
Vista and I have it again now I've upgraded from Vista to XP.

with vista SP1 you will be able to select what desktop search engine you
will use..
This came after the justified outcry of google and others!

I prefer using intelligence.. by organizing items very well,
then doing incremental searches with a normal search NOT indexed...
I have only indexed DVDs unsing "whereisit" a very good app, but that is a
totally different things since they are not physically on the computer and
index there is logical. Indexing hard drives is darn right stupid!

Right. So you're saying that because it isn't a good idea for you that it
can't possibly be a good idea for anyone else in the world either? Tell me,
what colour is the sky on your planet?

No Im telling you that I know what Im talking about because I dont spew
things out without being a master.

The color of the sky changes. It is blue, yellow, orange, red, or black (no
color) according to the location of our planet that is rotating on its axis
and around our single sun.
All these colors are only the result of diffraction of the white light of
the closest star (sol) on the water molecules and other gases of our
atmosphere. The air is normally transparent and colorless.

Now, what is the color of YOUR sky?

Oh I see. Drug addiction leading to delusions.

I'm really so dreadfully sorry. I hope you shortly receive the treatment you
need and a chance at entering society at some point in your future.
