hyperthread

I got a laptop 3.06Ghz with hyperthread turned on. I
would like to disable to do some video editing, but
windows xp pro will not load unless it is turned on. Any
ideas on getting around this short of reloading xp. Safe
mode will not load either with it turned on.
 
You should be able to
turn it on/off thru the BIOS.

Thats where the option for HT is
