XP Home/Pro and Hyperthreading Technology

Does anyone have experience with XP Home or Pro using a Hyperthreaded CPU?

The reason I ask is, I currently have a Pentium 4 3.0ghz CPU
w/Hyperthreading running on XP Home but I just read an article on TechTV
website that XP Home doesn't support Dual processors and XP Pro does. When
looking in Device Manager under Processors, WindowsXP does report 2
processors there.

I'm just wondering if my XP Home is not taking full advantage of the
Hyperthreading because it can't and that I should pick up XP Pro and upgrade
to take advantage of the hyperthreading. Can anyone confirm or deny this
for me?

Thanks

You have "a" [single] P4 CPU but it has two internal
processors [hyperthreading] and XP will show 2 processors,
whether you have XP Pro or XP Home.

If you had a mobo with two [2] CPU sockets and you had two
[2] CPU installed, XP would report 4 processors.
