Hyperlinks

I am editing a web page in FrontPage (saved on my computer). The hyperlinks work in the preview, and the files are located in the same directory, folder. When I open the page in explorer, the hyperlinks do not work. I've tried saving the linked files as both pdf and as htm, and neither will work. What am I doing wrong?? Thank you for your help!

By preview, do you mean the preview tab in FrontPage, or preview in browser.
Also by explorer, do you mean Internet Explorer??

Close FrontPage.
Do a file search for files named *.web and delete all found. Then search
for *.tmp and delete all found.
Then clear the browser Temporary Internet and History files.
Reopen FrontPage and see if it works.

Clearer and deleted, and the links still work in the FrontPage preview, but not when I open the page in Internet Explorer!

And if that still down't work.. Publish and tell us the URL. :

Open one of the pages. Highlight the hyperlink, switch to html view, copy
and paste the entire href=" tag
into a reply to the news group and post it.

Yep, that was it. ;-)

OK.

First thing, open your web, go to folder view and remove the spaces from all
file and folder names by renaming them and replacing the spaces with
underscores _ Spaces will cause hyperlinks to not function and are what
cause the %20 that you see in the hyperlinks.
FrontPage "should" rename all of the links when you rename the files *if*
you have the web open in folder view.

OK. Changes all files, removed spaces, and now I don't have the %20 in the name. NOW when I go to preview and click on the link, a new page comes up - with a red X in a box. When I go "live" in Internet Explorer, nothing happens when I click the hyperlink. NOW what am I doing wrong??

The files were orginally in Word. I "printed" them to Adobe. I also saved the Word file as a htm in a desperate measure
