Whenever I create a link in a word document to a file with a # in it's name,
located on my network [//root/test/New Text # Document.txt] the link does not
work and I am not able to open the file by clicking on the link. The error
message that appears is: "Can't open the specified file". If I create a link
to another file at the same location, but a file that does not have a # in
the filename, the file opens ok. I know that there are a couple workarounds
[http://support.microsoft.com/kb/202261/en-us] but the renaming of the file
is not an option for me. I use Word 2002.
Anyone outhere who has a permanent solution or a patch or whatever?
