Hi Jared,

I can't comment on the problem with Adobe, but I cannot replicate it by
saving as RTF.

Please respond to the newsgroups for the benefit of others who may be
interested.

Hope this helps

What are you using to create the PDF?
Adobe Acrobat 5 - operated from the Word (2002) macro - does not change the
hyperlink. Both links are reproduced here exactly as they appear in the
newsgroup message.

Hi Jared,

I have now come to the conclusion that it is not the saving to .RTF or .PDF
that is the problem, it is the use of the facility to set the advanced field
options for the hyperlink

If I create a hyperlink without using that facility, it will remain as

{ Hyperlink http://www.domain.com/go.php{--clickbank$oursite--}}

However, if in the Insert Fields dialog if I click on the button to set the
advanced field options and then create the address in that dialog, when I
click on OK, what appears in Word is

{ HYPERLINK "http://www.domain.com/go.php{--clickbank$oursite--}" }

Please respond to the newsgroups for the benefit of others who may be
interested.

Hope this helps

Anyone found a way to correct this problem? Thanks

When you display field codes you will see the problem
