hyperlinks and field codes

Is there a way to see hyperlink text and field codes at the same time? I know
how to see this, "This is a hyperlink.", or this, "This is a { HYPERLINK
"http://www.microsoft.com/"}.", but I would like to see something like this,
"This is a hyperlink{ HYPERLINK "http://www.microsoft.com/"}.", maybe with
the word "hyperlink" underlined. Any suggestions?

What's the reason you want this? If it's just to see both the display
text and the destination URL at the same time, right-click the
hyperlink and select Edit Hyperlink. That opens a dialog where you can
see and edit both.

If you just want to show a simulation, then type the display text as
plain text (for example, the word "hyperlink" in "This is a
hyperlink") and apply the Hyperlink character style to it. Then expand
the code of the actual hyperlink field.

There are up to three parts of a hyperlink: the display text (what you see
when field results are displayed), the underlying URL (which you'll see when
field codes are displayed), and the ScreenTip, which you see when you mouse
over the hyperlink. Perhaps you can do something with the last. See

hyperlinks.
