Hyperlink settings

Is there a simple way to adjust the settings for hyperlinks so that
everytime I assign or edit a hyperlink it does not automatically alter
any formatting in the cell. For instance the font, size and color
change and it underlines as I add or edit a hyperlink in a cell. I want
it to do nothing but add the hyperlink. It's just annoying.

Maybe you could play with the hyperlink style.

Format|style
select hyperlink from the dropdown
Click modify and change it to what you want
(remove the underline, change the color, change the size...

The hyperlink is still live (clickable?).

Styles live in workbooks, so this only affects the workbook that you're in.

But you can merge styles from one workbook to another and you could even set up
a default workbook template with that style.

Start a new workbook
change everything you want (including the style)
save it as book.xlt in your XLStart folder.

Each time you click on the new icon on the standard toolbar, you'll get a new
workbook based on that template.

:) Thanks for the help. I've seemed to never notice the style option
down there on the menu. Very cool.
