Hyperlink in protected doc

Good afternoon,

I am attempting to create a protected form with
hyperlinks. As soon as I potect the form, the hyperlinks
no longer function. How do I create a protected form
with functional hyperlinks? I am using Office 2000 and
Windows XP.
