Hyper Threading?

or service pack to enable Hyper Threading support for
Win2000 Pro on a dual processor motherboard?

No. It's what's known as an "upgrade incentive".

as far as i know. Only windows server 2003 is supporting.
and i guess you need to have 3.0ghz processor not sure.

XEON process also does hyper threading.

Nonsense. Win2000 Pro sees both CPUs of a HT P4.

The original poster has a dual-CPU system. Win2K will only
see 2 of the 4 logical processors, XP will see all 4.

2K pro will only see 2, Server will see 4, and adv server would see up to 8.

My appologies about 2k not doing HT on the P4 (non-xeon).
