I am trying to get a controller to work with my game on computer. It is a
playstation type remote i have the CD for and shows as installed and does
work. But not with my game I am running windows home xp on a hewlitt packard
laptop. I went to properties and got this to go to:
C:\WINDOWS\System32\svchost.exe -k netsvcs and i went to the svchost folder
in windows 32 system and i right click open and nothing happens. I try to
turn on the service and get error 126 specified module cant be found. So how
do i fix this?

What game?

Most importantly, does the game manufacturer specifically state that
this controller can be used with this game? Secondly, have you followed
that manufacturer's instructions for configuring the game to use the
controller?

"Properties" of what, precisely? Remember, no one here can see you
computer, or what you're doing. You must provide accurate information
if you want to have a chance of being helped.

C:\WINDOWS\System32\svchost.exe -k netsvcs and i went to the svchost folder

What did you expect to happen?

Unknown, as you haven't actually provided any useful information, nor
have you explained what, precisely, you're doing or why you're doing it.
