HTML email's and users with no access to the internet

I have a bit of a problem with HTML emails and was wondering if anyone has
any sugestions for me.....

I have a 30 user site -
SBS 2k with clients running XP SP2 and win2k SP4
accessing Exchange via Outlook XP or 2003

the IT Driector does not want everyone to have Internet access on there PC's
so i ahve set up the Proxy server on the SBS to limit Internet access to two
PC's in the office that are used by everyone.

the problem is when ever a user receives HTML emails, with links or
referenced images, and then try to forward that email Outlook hangs. i recon
cus it's tyring to down load the images and cant.

does any one know how to stop Outlook from trying to download images /
content in HTML email?

In OL2003 you can stop image downloading here: Tools menu > Options >
Security > Click "Change Automatic Download Settings"

There's also a setting there about forwarding & replying

What about when the hidden image files apparently cause Outlook 2003 to hang
up during forwarding?

When I am using Word 2003 as my e-mail editor, forwarding the file causes a
hang-up. When I turn that option off, I merely get a dialogue box to approve
the downloading of images, and I'm OK.

This started happening after installing Office 2003 SP1 and two critical
security updates.

Hmmm, I'm going to have to research that. Do you happen to know what
security patches you applied in addition to Office 2003 SP1?
