HTM, HTML, MHT Files' Icon Disappeared!

Hi,

How is everybody doing?

Since last week I found that the standard icons assigned to HTM and HTML, as
well as MHT, files stored on on of my computers disappeared. It was replaced
by the no-frills default icon.

I cannot get the standard icons back even by going into Folder Options >
File Types > and then on any of the options: Change or Advanced. Even if I
delete the file types and reinstate them anew, I cannot get the icons to
work!! Even though the icons do show up in the choice windows.

I did a SFC/ Scannow to repair any corrup file(s) but that did not work too,
after it was over!

I also uninstalled Netscape Navigator 7 in case it had anything to do with
the issue. But not so.

I also check for viruses, spyware and registry checks - nothing worked!!!

Any illumination would be most appreciated.

Thanks a lot in anticipation.

Everybody have a great day.

Click Start | Run | type "regsvr32 /i mshtml"

For .mht files, open Registry Editor and goto:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\mhtmlfile\DefaultIcon

Set the value for "default" (right side) to "C:\Program Files\Internet
Explorer\iexplore.exe,22"
