HP printer

Every time I start WIN XP it constantly finde my printer
and wants to install the driver. The is already
installed. I have deleted all drivers and reinstalled.
The next time I start XP it says it has found new
hardware and wants to install the printer again. I am
using the driver supplied with XP. What can I do to
cnvince XP the driver is already installed.

Ensure your LPT port is set to EPP in the BIOS.

Cari,

I have set the LPT port to EPP and it made no change. XP
Pro still says it finds new hardware. It sends up two
balloons saying it has now found the printer. Any other
suggestions?
