HP printer

I recently bought a new laptop with vista and i have never used vista before.
I have a HP Photosmart all in one printer and was trying to install it but
it says i'm not in the administrator account and i've checked multiple times
and i am. i called HP but they were not much help, do you have any
suggestions?

Download the latest HP software from
http://welcome.hp.com/country/us/en/support.html?pageDisplay=drivers
and then right-click on the installation file you downloaded
and select "Run as administrator".

Dave

Even though you may be an Administrator, you normally operate with regular
user powers. You will still need to elevate your powers when required.
This is normally done by right-clicking on the installation .exe file, and
selecting "Run as Administrator".
