hp photosmart 7350 can't install

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling; going out to hp and downloading their xp version of the printer software; everything I can think of and I can't get xp to recognize my printer noted in subject line. I have the original CD and it has xp as a compatible OS. You say they are compatible. As I try to install it saysy it doesn't recognize the logo and won't go any farther

If this doesn't work, how can I return to Windows ME? I have the HP recovery CDs...but what can I do? I'd like to stay with xp

Ensure you do a COMPLETE uninstall.....

If it still can't 'recognize' the printer, than it's possible (or even
probable) that the problem is not with XP and the printer but with your USB
ports. Do the USB ports work fine with all other devices?

When in the install does the installation appear to fail? What, if any,
error message are you getting? I don't understand your phrase "recognize
the logo"... what logo... are you talking about digital certified
drivers...... did you try just clicking OK to continue?
