HP Pavilion6233SE

I bought Lap top HP Pavilion 6233SE with Vista Operating System (Including
Built in Web Cam)

I have formatted HD and Install WinXP Professional on it and every drivers
has been installed and the Lap Top is working perfectly except Webcam , I
have down load it's driver from HP Web Site but the web cam did not work ???

Please advise

Look for the XP driver at the HP web site or contact HP support.

times. I'm not sure what, if any resolution was found.

You did not read my message carefully ... I have done what you say but now
way.. the web cam is still not responding.

THE FOLLOWING WAS THE SOLUTION FROM HP SUPPORT FOR INSTALL WEB CAM 1.3MB FOR
HP PAVILION 6233 AND 9000 AND I THINK IT WILL BE WORK FOR MANY MODELS

Fixed the web cam
removed the file usbvideo.sys from folder Windows\system32\drivers
uninstalled the web cam from system devices
then installed the folling software
ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp34501-35000/sp34746.exe

You did not read my message carefully--I also said to contact HP support
which you apparently did later on. Glad it's sorted out.
