HP OfficeJet Installation Problem

I had a problem with my HP Officejet 6210 All-in-One and am trying to
re-install the software. In the middle of installation a "mdfix01.exe"
window pops up saying mdfix01.exe has encountered a problem and needs to
close and cannot complete the installation. How can I solve this problem?

Have you contacted HP tech support? Also you could do some reading in the
links from these Google web and group searches.

Hi:
I have three HP printers, from older-model to two brand new printers.

The older-model, I had NO problem in installation, although I was quite
naive and a brand-new HP user at that time.

However, two HP printers on newer model I had a ton of problems. For this,
I
spent many hours with many headaches, ... yet I could NOT set-up properly
as you described on your hp printer-problem.

Finally, I contacted HP, ... first by e-mail that did not solve the problem.
Afterwards, I found 'live chat' that literally resolved all problems I
encountered.

BTW, one of printers, an economical one, HP PSC 1610 All-in-One has been a
BEST printer
beating expensive Printers as seeing space-saver along with good copy
functionability.

Then, like the other suggesting, a best solution is go to 'live chat' which
is
truly helpful, plus only a few minutes' wait before hooking-up to Chat.
