HP Digital Imaging Monitor - in system tray

R

Richard Fangnail

I just got a new HP 4180 printer and I wasn't sure if I should have
the HP Digital Imaging Monitor startup every time. I did notice that
I couldn't scan by pressing a button on the printer - I had to run
Photosmart.

I've Googled a lot of suggestions for how to remove the DIM - can't
you just go into Windows Explorer and remove it from the Startup
folder? If you could, I should have seen that suggestion a lot, eh?
