hp c6180 installation error

since I installed the subject all in one, each time I start up I get an error
screen saying

"One of the filter drivers installed for this device is invalid."

The HP tech referred me to Microsoft support saying it is a Win XP issue.

Can anyone help me?

HP do know this BTW, they have a support page about it at:

As you can see, it's not a Microsoft problem, it's the way HP drivers
install in relation to the smart card reader(s) that are on the printer.
