hp 932c Ratcheting sound

My hp 932c makes a ratcheting sound when it first grabs a sheet and after it drops it, not during printing. Any advice or help?

My ex 932C which my sister now has does the same thing but always seems
to work fine.
 
Sounds perfectly normal to me. All the HP printers I have had,
including the current 932C, behave in much the same manner, though the
sound level varies from model to model.
