HP 932C Printer Noise

I picked up a couple of HP 932C deskjet printers on ebay in fairly good
condition. However, both of them make a kind of "clanging" noise when
first pulling the paper through and also when pushing the finished paper
out. It sounds like some kind of mechanical part swinging back into
place...with a mild "twang". Is there something I can adjust to quiet this
noise?

Thanks!
Scott

That's normal and basically there is nothing you can do to the printer
itself to make it quieter. The 900 series Hp printers are reliable but
not quiet.

THE DRAFT IS FAST AND GREAT QUALITY. THE NORMAL QUALITY IS REAL GOOD.
YOU NEVER HAVE TO USE BEST. PHOTO QUALITY IS NOT TOO GOOD BUT IT IS NOT
SOLD AS A PHOTO PRINTER. THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST PRINTERS MADE.

tomcas,

Thanks for the info! I'll use the 932C and not worry about the noise.

I had a 932C and yes it made a twanging noise when first pulling the
paper through but always worked great and printed great.
