Guys
I need help, my HP 7150 Printer will not print.

The print is sent to the printer then as you look at the document view but
just before it prints it just deletes the document.

The printer prints fine when you do a print test.

I have reloaded the drivers after removing the old ones then rebooting then
reinstalling but nothing seems to help.

I have tried a new USB cable and new ink cartridges.

I have checked the settings in the device manager which seem OK, I have
deleted them and let XP find them again - all showing enabled.

I am at the point where I am reaching for the Big Hammer.....

Any advice would be appreciated.

The only thing I can think of is there is an old printer set to default.
This would have exactly the same symptoms.

Try going to Control Panel//Printers & Faxes and look for the printer with a
little arrow on the icon. If it is not the printer you are using, right
click the HP7150 and select "Set as Default Printer".

Good luck,

Ed

Hi

There are many possibilities for this problem
Check whether the Port u selected (USB/Parallel) is enabled or not (From
setup or BIOS)
Check whether Connector is proper whether has a carbon or not
At last check whether this Printer is working with other PC or not

Thanks
Abhijeet

Before you give up completely, go to HP.com and search for a driver update
for your printer. What type of computer are you using?

Thanks for the reply, the nice man at HP advised that I use the 990C driver
as it was the same and it worked :)
