HP 3200 Printing Problem

I recently purchased a Dell 6000 notebook running XP Professional. It is
hard linked to a HP Laserjet 3200 Series PCL 6 via cable. When I send a
document to this printer, it prints off just fine, but keeps the document
queued (visible in the document column under "Printer & Faxes"). If power is
cycled to the printer, it will print the same document again. I have to
manually erase all print jobs. This didn't happen with my old Dell 8000
running 2000. What's wrong?

A tip I picked up from Alan Morris:

----
Printer Properties, Ports Tab

Uncheck Bidirectional

Check HP for the driver fix but I don't think they dropped the fix to any
printer under the 4000 series.

Thanks, Hal. That seems to work. I did check for driver changes, but none I
downloaded made any difference. Thank again
