Howto: Install poledit from 2000 server cd!

C

Chris \(Again\) !

Hiya folks. Ok, I have been asking the right questions
and now I have found poledit.ex_ on the server cd of
windows 2000 AS and have tried to drag and drop
poledit.ex_ and rename to poledit.exe and it does not
work! How do I install poledit from my windows 2000 server
cd onto my windows pro box?

I need poledit because I have an NT4.0 server I need to
save the file to the netlogon share of the PDC so my
windows 2000 box has sever feed restrictions.

Thanks~!

Poledit should be available by default on windows 2000 server. Go to start
run and type poledit.
If you need to copy it from the Cd you have to extract it. Open a command
prompt and go to d:\i386 then type "extract poledit.ex_
c:\foldername\poledit.exe"
