how2reset password4safemode admin acct?

I am only user and owner. Only use 1 acct. which is an
admin. acct. However, in safemode, another admin. acct.
appears and a long time ago, for security purposes, I
created a password for this acct. Now I can't remember it
and when I go to manage user accounts to reset it it
doesn't show, even in safe mode. How do I access this
acct. to reset password? This shouldn't cause me to lose
any data in my regular account, should it?

I'm not sure what you mean, but my guess is that it is the local administrator account,
right click my computer-
manage-
local users and groups-
click users-
right click administrator-
set password
and change the password, then you can access it.
Or if all failes use an password disk like nordahl disk
