How would I move data into templates on another sheet in workbook?

Hi,

I have a question that I was hoping someone would be able to help m
with. I will try to explain it as best I can.

I have a WORKBOOK with 3 sheets.

On the 1st page I have a spreadsheet containing over 300 persona
recipes that I want to format onto special perferated stock. I hav
created a recipe template that looks neat and when I tell it to impor
data from the same sheet it can, however
I want to be able to import the data, in the template form on th
second sheet which I will set up 3 recipes across and 6 down, 18 o
each page.

The soreadhseet data is simply 12 categories across the top
INGRED1, INGRED2,INGRED3 and so on and then a field for cookin
directions.

I know I can do this on the same page that the spreadsheet is on, of
to the right however to make it look better and for quick scree
review, I would really much prefer to copy it over to the second pag
(or sheet).

When I do this, on all spots for data reference it replaces the dat
with #REF.

I should figure this can be done so I was hoping someone here would b
able to help me. THank you in advanc

The #Ref symbol refers to a cell reference error so your
spreadsheet must contain formulas. If C2 is =A2*B2 and
this is copied to B2 it will not be able to reference the
cell two columns to the right and so produce an error.

The error can be seen in the formula bar e.g. =#REF!*A3 is
produced by copying =A2*B2 in to B3 and shows that only
one cell is available for the formula.

Examine the error and see if you can redesign sheet 2.

I did use a reference by pulling the cell contents over like this:

J4= c4 which would put the contents of c4 into j4.
