How/where do I find info to identify my Sound Card?

To check, I looked under System Properties/Device
Manager/Sound, video & game controllers where I have SoundMax Integrated
Digital Audio. Is that my sound card? If not, How/where do I find info to
identify my sound card?

Click START button|RUN and type...

msinfo32 <enter>

Click the + to the left of the COMPONENTS branch|click SOUND DEVICE

Well, it's actually a chip or two located on your motherboard (hence,
the term "integrated") that serves as your audio controller, so it is,
in affect, your "sound card," even though it's not a separate,
replaceable component.

If not, How/where do I find info to
identify my sound card?

1) Start > Run > MSinfo32.exe.

2) Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Information

3) Start > Run > DXDiag.exe.

4) Right-click My Computer > Manage > Device Manager.

5) If none of the built-in tools provide the information you want, you
can use these utilities to help determine the answer to your question:
