how to view HKEY_Current_User remotely

For troubleshooting purpose I need to view the registry remotely while the
user logged on. The user has no admin permission to view it locally. Using
Regedit I can remotely connect to their registry but only able to view
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE and HKEY_USERS. I want to view HKEY_Current_User
remotely. Is it possible? I have admin permission to the user's XP machine.

His profile is in HKEY_USERS. The HKEY_CURRENT_USER key maps to the
current user's branch in HKEY_USERS. You can reconcile the HKU user to
the proper SID by looking at
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList
