remote connection

I tried to remote connect to a computer in different room, but I am not able
to although I have permission to log on that computer. I also connect to my
computer remotely from that computer. I check the remote destop config and
also check on box "allow user to connect remotely to this computer" and add
my username on it. I also able to browse and use the sharefile of this
computer from my computer. Does anyone know what the problem is? Thanks

Did you

- Set up folders (or the drive) and printers such that they're shareable
- Are there firewalls in the way

I would check out these two issues first.

there is no share problem. I am able to access share folder from my computer
but I can not connect to that computer remotely to control that computer.
