How to view a print log

I would like to find out if there is a way to view all
the print jobs I sent to a certain printer during the
last 24 hours. I know I can see the print queue waiting
to be printed. But how about the jobs that have been
printed? Thanks.

Hi,

I think u can audit the printer object for successful job completion .
Below i m giving the summary and the link :

http://www.microsoft.com/windows2000/en/server/help/default.asp?url=/windows
2000/en/server/help/sag_printconcepts_19.htm?id=1176

SUMMARY : To track printer usage
================================

Open Printers
Right-click the printer you want to audit, and then click Properties.
Click the Security tab, click the Advanced button, and then click the
Auditing tab.
Click Add, and then click the user or group whose printer access you want
to audit.
In the Access column, click successful and failed printing events you want
to audit, and then click OK twice.
Note

To open Printers, click Start, point to Settings, and then click Printers.
Successful means you want to audit all successful attempts to perform this
action.
Failed means you want to audit all failed attempts to perform this action.
You can view the audit information in the security log file

Hope i answered ur query !!
Regards,
Venkat.
