How to use contacts in Outlook 2003 with a married couple?

I'm curious what other people are doing when they know a married couple, know
both of them equally well, and have different information for them.
The major issues I have come across so far are entering different birthdays,
business addresses, and mobile phones.
I know I can create two contact records, one for each, but then if they
change their home address or phone number, I'm required to edit both records
instead of just one. Is there any easy way to do this that I just don't know
about yet?

Thanks,
Roger

Roger, I don't see a previous response to your inquiry, but your points are
relevant to my experience. Usually we want to treat a couple as a single
contact, yet there is areas as individuals, such as birthdays, that are a
challenge. I've been putting in spouse birthdays as a recurring Calendar
schedule, not sure how well that will work over time. Have you gained
further insight on this Outlook 2003 issue? DonColorado

Unfortunately, I have not gained any further insight and as you correctly
pointed out, no one as has responded with any suggestions. But it's good to
know that I'm not the only one that finds Outlook lacking in this area.
