How to uninstall program installed while browsing the web

I was browsing the web. Suddenly a window popped up and asked me if I
wanted to install a program. I accidantly clicked yes. It downloaded
something and installed it. I don't know what that is. However I
suspect it is an activeX object. How do I find what it is and
uninstall it?
I really appreciate your kind answer.
