How to turn on the logon dialog box

When I start my Windows 2000 Professional, the computer goes into the
default account without displaying any logon dialog box. How can I turn the
logon box on to block other users to go into this default account without
logging on?

Sounds like Autologon is enabled ... Most likely, visit:

and reverse the process listed there ... That should help you out ...
