How to turn off default settings on CD?

I have inherited a PC running XP Pro which has the CD option set to
always copy the CD to disk when inserted. How can I reset it so it
always asks me what I want to do?

Open My Computer, and right-click the CD drive.
Choose Properties, and click the Autoplay tab.
Select the required option there.
