How to tell Outlk 2003 to look in my Contacts list b4 looking in G

I want outlook 2003 to look in my CONTACTS list for email info, then look
into the company 'Global Contacts' list.

I've done this in the past but can't remember HOW I did this.

Hope one of you wizards can help out.
