How to stop slide change by scrolling mouse wheel

The slides should not change on the scrolling of the mousewheel. My
presentation is hyperlink based so i donot want that the slides show to
advance by scrolling.

Ragini,

slideshow menu > setup show > set it to "KIOSK" mode, this stops the mouse
wheel from advancing the slides

Will this mess up the preview settings since I just want the slides to stop advancing on their own "while editing the deck". for me the slides keep shifting around right while I'm in the middle of editing them. It's crazy annoying!
