How to stop large resolution everytime I activate microsoft word?

Needing Your Help In DC

Why is that everytime I activate Word, my screens resolution becomes
extremely large and I have to go to my control panel to reset the resolution.
It asks me if I want to keep these new settings and I click yes. But
everytime I go to word, it does not keep those saved relsolutions. This is
the only program it does it on.

Does anyone have the answer this?
 
With Word closed, use Windows Explorer or My Computer to search for the
WINWORD.EXE file on your computer. Right-click on WINWORD.EXE, then
left-click on Properties | Compatibility. If the "Run in 640x480 screen
resolution" box is checked, uncheck it, and click on Apply.
