How to stop IExplorer from automatically opening zip files?

Can someone tell me how to stop Iexplorer from automatically opening
zip files. By default a click would prompt you where to save the file.
However, at present, a click will activate the download, then an automatic
open of the zip file.

I tried resetting all the defaults I could find, however, IE still will
download and open a zip file without any prompt if you click on one.

From *Windows* Explorer, go View-Options-File Types and find the entry in
the list for WinZip (or whichever zip extention you want). Select it and
click on the Edit button. Tick the 'Confirm Open After Download' option.

You should now have what you are after.
