This is another pet peeve of Win2K and XP. Why doesn't the volume
stay put like in Win98SE?? Is there a way to be able to set the
volume somewhere even if not logically on the volume control in
systray? This just never works. Every time new audio starts up,
volume jumps up from where I manually set it.
Pls help. I'm using my computer on a trial basis to replace my clock
radio for a variety of reasons. But if I can't get the volume
stabilized, I'll have to go back to the clock radio with CD!
Currently get woken up at heart-attack volume level!!
Thanks!
