I run the set up home and small businessnetwork. There are 2 network
adaptors for me to choose: 1. Local Area Connection, 2. 1394 Net adaptor. I
pick the Local Area Connection. At the end summery, it shows:

Setting:
Internet connection: Local area connection
Internet connection sharing: enabled
Internet firewall: enabled (I already disable the firewall, don't know why
it shows enable)

Connection to your network: 1394 connection (I do not use this to connect
the network)

After I wait for a few seconds, it shows: Cannot complete the network setup
wizard. A error occurred during configuration of the network on this
computer.

Can you tell me what did I do wrong? Thanks

Hi
You are Not Doing any think worng per-ce.

However given the situation you have to configure your system Manually. I.e.
No Wizard any more.

Log to this page it has a lot of links to instructions to Windows Network
Settings, and Sharing. http://www.ezlan.net/Installing.html

Jack (MVP-Networking).

I follow the instruction and install NetBEUI into my local network
connection, then run the Set up or change your home or small office network
again, but I still get the same error message. What is wrong? I don't have
any anti-virus softwares or any software firewall running. Thank you.
