how to set limit to maximum recipient count

When I send any email having, lets say, more than 12 recipients, the mail is
returned by system administrator stating '501 maximum recipient count
exceeded'. Same mail goes smoothly using other email client.
 
No such setting in Outlook. Maximum recipients error message you received
is always controlled by the server.
