Recipient maximum

I just figured out there is a 95 recipient cap when I create distribution
lists using Outlook 2003 and the Exchange server. Does this also mean I
cannot compose an email and send it to MORE THAN 95 people?

I created 4 distribution groups that encompass our entire student body to
get around this issue. The distribution groups are broken down by
alphabetical groups (i.e. A-G, H-L, M-R, S-Z). Can I compose an email using
all 4 distibution groups and have it send that one email to all the
recipients listed within the 4 distribution groups (approx 250 recipients,
though LOTS are duplicate email addresses so it won't send to those names
twice).

If there are 4 family members within our school I listed ALL of them in
these distribution lists so that I had a check (i.e. count) to make sure I
captured everyone knowing the system will not send the same email 4 times to
that family of 4 students. But, doing this, made my recipient list longer...

Is there a better way around this issue?

Yes. However, that is a limitation imposed by your email service, not by MS
Outlook.

Possibly. A mail-merge program would allow you to compose a message in
something like Word, and then send to a list of recipients. I've never used
one, though, so I don't know best one to use, or how to use it.
