how to search for .pst files with office 2007

I am trying to find .pst files through a search on c drive. I've noticed the
search function is really different than office 2003. I don't like it as
much. It won't produce anything and i don't understand the categories for
the search. Can someone tell me how to enter in a search for just .pst files.
It tells me there is no folder or no query for this. I think outlook files
are in my documents. Windows XP

thanks

do the search in Windows (Start/Search/files and folders/all files and
folders) and click More Advanced Options, search hidden...

You are using Windows Search, primarily a tool for searching docs. In the
bottom left hand click Search Companion - its here that you will see the
other options

You can also go to Control Panel | Mail, and find your PST files in the
'Data Files' section.
