How to remove Window xp with multi OS's installed????Help

I just recently bought the XP pro full program
I had a win 98 os on my machine. I figured everything would write over...wrong
What happened I have installed two complete XP os's plus a third one which I
stopped in the process
I followed directions on how to remove neither of them worked, they where
1) use remove program...windows XP does not appear therefore this will not
work
2) Use command prompt with several entries of which the last one is
"osuninstal.exe"pop up informs me that there is improper registration or
something to that effect
I have registered the product?????
I tried to erase the whole computer since I have wasted over a day but the
command prompts that I have used with W98 will not work

Any advise???? thanks

Boot from the Windows XP CD and you'll have partitioning/formatting options.
